Jimmy Kimmel will host the 89th annual Academy Awards tonight on ABC. It’ll air at 8:30 P.M. EST, but the red carpet coverage will begin at 7:00 P.M. EST.
You can live stream the show if you have a cable subscription on the ABC app and at abc.com. However, live streaming is also only available in select markets. Luckily, we’re one of them.
That includes television subscribers in Chicago; Fresno, California; Houston; Los Angeles; New York City; Philadelphia; Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina and San Francisco; as well as DirecTV users in Albuquerque, New Mexico; Boston; Ft. Smith-Fayetteville, North Carolina; Jackson, Mississippi; Kansas City; Milwaukee; Monterey-Salinas, California; Oklahoma City; Omaha, Nebraska; Pittsburgh; Portland-Auburn, Maine; Savannah, Georgia; and West Palm Beach, Florida.
The Oscars: All Access is available for anybody to watch beginning at 7:00 P.M., but it won’t include the stream for the live ceremony. I guess you could always find an illegal stream, though, right?
Here are some of the big categories and nominations.
We’ll have an Oscars roundup post early Monday morning.
