Before tonight’s Stadium Series game between the Flyers and Penguins got underway, the American Hockey League announced their Outdoor Classic participants for next season. The Lehigh Valley Phantoms will take part in the game as they’ll visit Hersheypark Stadium and take on the Hershey Bears in the league’s Outdoor Classic on January 20, 2018.
The last time the Phantoms played an outdoor game, they defeated the Bears, 4-3, on a Shane Harper goal in overtime at Citizens Bank Park in 2012. Ticket information will be announced soon.

Philly will also host a Stadium Series game with the Flyers and Penguins having a go at another outdoor game.
