Carson Wentz is the man, but you already knew that.
Lukas “Dutch Destroyer” Kusters was the man too.
Wentz has played his first six games of the Philadelphia Eagles’ regular season with a bracelet inscribed with Kusters’ Dutch Destroyer nickname. The Wilmington, Delaware native Kusters, whose dream was to play for the Eagles, was a running back who destroyed his competition at the youth level, but after playing in a league championship game, he was diagnosed with muscular cancer.
The “SC Featured” segment, which can be viewed all the way below, takes a look back at when Wentz and Lukas met in May. Wentz, who received the bracelet from Lukas that day, took to Instagram afterward to talk about his visit.
