Philadelphia is a major spanning city. It’s always brimming with exiting new activities and things to do each week. Sometimes answering the simple question of where to eat or get a quick drink can be overwhelming. Each week Philly Influencer will highlight some new places and local favorites to add to your list. 

Ocean Prime: Ocean Prime is a downtown hotspot with a massive wine list and a flair for serving up some fantastic seafood and steak. On November 2nd for National Deviled Egg Day the exquisite culinary treasure will be serving up White Truffle Caviar Deviled Eggs.

Pizzeria Beddia: It can’t be a great list with an amazing place to get pizza from. Pizzeria Beddia edges up Girard Avenue. This spot churns out pizza that are delicious and versatile. This Fishtown will never disappoint when you’re in the mood for a crispy crusted slice.

Urban Farmer: Urban Farmer is a wonderful farm-to-table restaurant. The Logan Square steakhouse starts its happy hour early at 3PM and it concludes at 6PM. Come by for your choice steak cuts or any of their trendy appetizers. National Deviled Egg Day Urban Farmer will have bourbon maple and candied bacon topped deviled eggs.

Southwark: Queen Village eatery Southwark  fuses Italian plates and American fare. There are plenty hand-made breads and pastas at this great space. The menu includes Baked Spaghetti, Grilled Pork Chops, Roasted Chicken, and many more staples.

Perla: Perla is a Passyunk Avenue gem that serves up some of the best Filipino cuisine un the city. The modern bistro utilizes local seasonal ingredients to make the most delicious meals. The menu includes a massive assortment of a la carte and family style main dishes. The restaurant is also BYOB which is a plus.

Skylodge Returns: Today Skygarten will be kicking off the second season of Skylodge. DJ Love City will be in the building. Dogfish Head and Woolrich’s will be showcasing their new brew Pennsylvania Tuxedo, there will be many drinks and food on location, and an amazing wintry décor at this sky-high structure.

Month of Pies: Red Owl Tavern begin their Month of 1000 Pies today. For every pie sold through November 23rd, the establishment will donate to local charity Philabundance. They have many holiday favorites such as apple streusel and pumpkin pie. Red Owl Tavern will also have Lancaster duck confit and candied jalapeños topped deviled eggs this Thursday.

3rd Annual Unmasking the Legacy Gala: This Thursday night, JerseyMan and Philadelphia Magazine will be hosting the 3rd Annual Unmasking the Legacy Gala. Meisha Johnson from CBS Philly will be behind the mic at this event that will have drinks, food, music, and more all for a good cause.

First Friday: On the First Friday of each month Old City’s artistic areas blossom. This Friday local spots will open their doors for many specials and events.

Silent Philly: Silent Philly holds some of the premier parties in the city. This Saturday night they will be hosting a party at Monarch from 10PM-2AM. Early bird tickets are only $5. Come put on those headphones and dance the night away to your favorite song.

Game Day Specials: Revolutions at Penn Treaty offer tremendous game day specials each week doing the Eagles matchups. The bowling destination has 75 cent wings, $2 PBR and domestic drafts, $4 well drinks, and $15 brew buckets.

Hope Under The Sea

Join live music acts G. Love and more as they spark the Adventure Aquarium next Saturday. Hope Under The Sea benefits several cancer patients in need.  NBC10’s Cydney Long, Big Daddy Graham, American Idol’s Cara Samantha, and more will be at this exciting charitable gathering. The black-tie affair will include a plated dinner, auctions, speeches by honored guests, cocktails, and more.
