Philadelphia is a major spanning city. It’s always brimming with exiting new activities and things to do each week. Sometimes answering the simple question of where to eat or get a quick drink can be overwhelming. Each week Philly Influencer will highlight some new places and local favorites to add to your list. 

City Tap House: Both City Tap House locations at Logan Square and University City have switched things up and revamped their menus for the season. The menu expansion includes Crispy Oyster Steamed Buns, Maple Brined Pork Chop, Rabbit Bolognese, and more. Each eatery also includes a massive drink menu including some local brewing treasures.

Hardena: Hardena or Waroeng Surabaya is a warm and cozy café with massive tables and intriguing food options. Whether is lamb and fish curry, eggplant and tofu, beef rending, or another dish, you can’t go wrong at this spot.

Zahav: Society Hill is fill of many dinning pleasures and culinary options. Zahav serves up phenomenal modern Israeli cuisine. The menu includes Chicken and Sirloin Shishlik, eclectic kebabs, and several small plate options. There is also several complimentary wine options on the drink menu.

Res Ipsa: Res Ipsa is a great Italian restaurant located at Rittenhouse Square.  The eatery has various menus including a hearty breakfast selection. When it comes to afternoon and dinner options, the menu unfolds masterfully. Come try the Gnocchi Sardo, Campanelle, Whole Fish, Strascinatti, and more.

Little Fish: Chef and owner Alex Yoon has produced a fantastic seafood centered dining experience in Queen Village. Little Fish is a BYOB spot that has everything from lobster small bites to Bigeye Tuna dishes. The restaurant also has an extensive Sunday Tasting Menu.

Drake Night: Tonight at The Fillmore Philadelphia you can dance to everything from “Passionfruit” to “Controlla”. The concert venue will be hosting a massive Drake themed blowout party. The DJ’s will be spinning the best from the Toronto native and more.

Manayunk Cocktail Week: Monday kicked off Manayunk Cocktail Week. running through Sunday, this multiple day celebration includes drink specials, cocktail competitions, creative and extensive happy hours, and more.

DJ Battle: Chickie & Pete’s will be hosting and DJ Turntable and Scratch Off Battle this Thursday night. From 9PM-2AM you can get all the beats you can handle. The music showcase and competition will give you one free drink and Red Bull upon entry. This is a free with RSVP event that will have four turntable setups.

Devil’s Den Veteran’s Dar Fundraiser: This Friday, Devil’s Den will be hosting a Veteran’s Day fundraiser. There will be drink specials and an exclusive beer for the event, Integri-tea, will be up for sale. The event starts at 5PM and 100% of the proceeds from the raffle ticket purchases and Weyerbacher collaborative beer sales will be donated to The National Military Family Association.

Winter Lodge: The Rotman Institute Cabin at Dilworth Park will be open for business starting this weekend. The busy location will have specialty cocktails, brews, food, and more at the City Hall adjacent location. Come try the Bloody Marys or Blood Orange Effen Mimosa.

Hope Under The Sea: This Saturday Adventure Aquarium hosts Hope Under The Sea.  Join live music acts G. Love and more at this event benefitting several cancer patients in need.  NBC10’s Cydney Long, Big Daddy Graham, and American Idol’s Cara Samantha will be at this black-tie affair that will include auctions, speeches by honored guests, cocktails, and more.
