Here Are Some of Merrill Reese’s Best Calls from the NFC Championship Game

Throughout this season, I’ve been fortunate enough to capture some of Merrill Reese’s best calls during Eagles games on SportsRadio 94WIP. Last week against the Atlanta Falcons, I was feeling a little superstitiousy, so I decided to listen to the radio while watching the game and not worry about capturing any sound bites.

But something happened last week. I was pretty confident all week heading into the NFC Championship Game. Whether it was the Eagles’ home-field advantage at play, the fact that I thought the defense would suffocate the Vikings’ offense enough to get the victory, or whether it was just me being so used to the Eagles losing, that I was going to do everything in my power to enjoy this ride.

So, I pulled up Merrill and Mike once again last night. And here are some of their best calls:

Patrick Robinson interception return for a touchdown:

Derek Barnett’s strip-sack on Case Keenum:

Alshon Jeffery’s first touchdown:

Flea flicker to Torrey Smith:

And just for good measure:

Can’t wait for Minnesota in two weeks.
