Philadelphia is a major spanning city. It’s always brimming with exiting new activities and things to do each week. Sometimes answering the simple question of where to eat or get a quick drink can be overwhelming. Each week Philly Influencer will highlight some new places and local favorites to add to your list.
Bistro La Minette: French eatery Bistro La Minette features a tasty menu that includes Gnocchis Parisienne, Duck confit, pork and tomato stew, marinated beet salad, and more. If you’re in the mood for dessert try their staple Chocolate mousse cake.
Lou Bird’s: Whether you’re in the mood for charcuterie or fine cuisine, Lou Bird’s has many flavorful selections on its menu. Come to the South 20th Street location for poached halibut, hamachi ceviche, layered sunchoke and roasted squash soup, and plenty of dessert options.
SouthGate: Lombard Street eatery SouthGate has some phenomenal traditional Korean fused dishes to water your palate. They have great Korean Fried Chicken, savory vegetable japchae, chicken katsu, and impressive spirits and cocktail list.
Zama: Rittenhouse Row Asian spot Zama offers up a wide variety of maki rolls and other Japanese dishes. They offer a NY strip, veggie, and tofu stir fry. Chilean Sea Bass Saikyoyaki and Salmon or Chcken Teriyaki are flavorful options at the location. Zama also has tremendous lunch specials, drink, and dessert options.

Center City Restaurant Week Continues: Center City Restaurant Week features three-course lunches and dinners for $20 and $35 at over 52 restaurants.
Latin Night at the Lodge: The Blue Cross RiverRink will be hosting a Salsa Night this Thursday. The party is from 10PM-1AM and will feature live music, festive drinks, and more.
Eagles Pep Rally: Chickie and Pete’s will be hosting an Eagles Pep Rally this Thursday evening from 6PM-10PM. The Eagles Pep Band, Swoop, and current players will all be in attendance.
Young Professionals Night: The Barnes Foundation will be hosting a gothic glam themed Young Professionals Night this Friday. There will be amazing networking, food and beverages, and more to align with exhibition Kiefer Rodin.
24th Annual Hair O’ The Dog: There is only one place this weekend you can find FOX’s Alex Holley, have access to a 5 hour open bar, and hear the group Cash Cash. The 24th Annual Hair O’ The Dog will have tons of people dancing the night away in Penn’s Landing.
Eagles Viewing Parties: This Sunday the Philadelphia Eagles will be taking on the Minnesota Vikings for a chance to get to the Super Bowl. Several local restaurants and pubs such as JJ Bootleggers, Mad River, Paddy Whacks, and more will be having viewing parties.
