The Eagles Will Play a Game in London, England Next Season

The Eagles will travel across the pond next season and play the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, England’s historic Wembley Stadium, according to reports.

An official announcement from the NFL is expected later today.

In what can be looked at as good news, the Eagles won’t be losing a home game next season because of their London trip. According to McLane, the Eagles will be the away team and the Jaguars will be the home team.

And we sure as hell know that even though the Jaguars will technically be the home team, the majority of the stadium will be donned in Eagles green.

I like this simply for the fact that the Eagles won’t lose a home game. Selfish, I know. And, hell, maybe a trip to London is long overdue for me. I’ve never been.

The NFL schedule for all teams is set to be released in April, and, as of now, no exact date has been confirmed for the Eagles-Jaguars game.
