Former Philadelphia Eagles assistant director of player personnel, Andy Weidl, now has one less name in his title.
Weidl, now the director of player personnel, headlined some changes that the Eagles made to their scouting staff on Monday.
Weidl will continue to be vice president of player personnel Joe Douglas’ right-hand man. Weidl spent a decade in Baltimore (2005-2015) working with Douglas before the two joined Philadelphia in 2016. It’s a vote of confidence shown by the Eagles for Weidl, who will enter his 21st season in the NFL.
