With the last few days of Black History Month winding down, the African American Museum and other locations in Philadelphia have several celebrations planned throughout the weekend. There will be a jazz concert dedicated to Motown legends Stevie Wonder and SmokiRobinsonon this Friday. This Sunday there will be a Bound to the Fire: The Story of How Enslaved Cooks Fueled What We Eat Today book signing with author Kelley Fanto Deetz at Cliveden. Smith Playground will also be hosting a 120 Years of Integrated Play event on Saturday.

2. Closing Soon: Winter events at Dilworth Park

4. Cinderella at the Academy of Music

5. #TrackTakeover at Walnut-Locust Station
Where: Walnut-Locust Station, 200 S. Broad St.

Following the 2018 Trashcan Takeover, the subway station at Walnut and Locust is getting its own artistic facelift. The temporary underground art gallery will replace all 110 advertising spaces with artwork from 30 Philadelphia artists! Stop by for saw jaw-dropping and inspiring work.

6. Orchid Extravaganza

7. Friday Nights at the Art Museum

12. Party at the Market
