2. Closing Soon: East Passyunk Ave Restaurant Week

When: Runs through Friday, March 8th
East Passyunk Restaurant Avenue Week will be serving up sizzling dishes through Friday. These deals will feature three-course prix fixe lunch and/or dinner for $15, $25 or $35. More than twenty restaurants in the area will be buzzing with great deals and a booming crowd.

3. Women’s History Month Events

Women’s History Month Features several events, celebrations, discussions, entertainment, and panels discussing several nuanced topics orbiting women on a daily basis. This Friday The Logan will offer guests the ability to send custom flowers and notes to the special women in their lives. On the same day, the Asian Arts Initiative will be hosting an International Womxn’sDay event. Womynfest 2019 will be showcasing women’s art this Sunday and will have several creatives in attendance.

5. Philly Chef Conference
Where: Drexel University, 3141 Chestnut St.
When: Runs through Monday, March 11th
Another series taking over the city is the 2019 Philly Chef Conference. Hosted by Drexel’s Center for Food and Hospitality Management, [T]he conference is an annual event designed to convene the regional food community and to showcase the latest food and beverage ideas”. In addition, CO-OP Restaurant & Lounge is excited to welcome Philly Chef Conference attendees with food and drink specials all weekend. Located down the street from Drexel’s Academic Building (where all of the Philly Chef Conference’s events will be hosted), CO-OP invites attendees to continue the conversation after the Opening Night Session on Sunday, March 10th, with extended drink specials at the bar. Guests can mix and mingle while enjoying discounted drafts, cocktails and wine all night. 8. BalletX Spring Series

BalletX offers up some fantastic movement and choreography that’s truly out of this world. Choreographers Lil Buck, Nicolo Fonte, Katarzyna Skarpetowskan will be cultivating a lineup full of premieres. Come to one of the most anticipated performance series in the city each year. 9. Kate The Unexamined Life at Walnut Street Theatre

10. AAMP Weekend
Where: The African American Museum in Philadelphia, 701 Arch St.
When: Friday, March 8th-Sunday, March 10th
The AAMP welcomes three exhibitions to its fantastic halls this weekend Baye Fall: Roots in Spirituality, Fashion and Resistance and The Sacred Star of Isis and Other Stories, and AAMP on Paper: Selections from the Permanent Collection) highlights a selection of works from the museum’s collection. There will be opening festivities this Friday. This Sunday is also Macy’s Family Funday Sunday. The first 250 people to enter the museum will get in free.

11. Welcome the Stranger at the National Liberty Museum
Where: National Liberty Museum, 321 Chestnut St.

Welcome the Stranger comes to the National Liberty Museum this weekend. This phenomenal display is a wonderous “one-woman exhibit of cast glass, ceramics, and mixed media” by Micaela Amateau Amato. There will an opening reception this Friday, March 8th starting at 6 pm.

12. The Bechdel Test Fest

13. MilkGirl Weekend

14. Michelle Wolfe

Hershey, PA comedian Michelle Wolfe will be taking over the Punch Line Philly stage all weekend. The on-air contributor and writer for Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Trevor Noah will be doing a four-night residency at the comedy club. Come out for some of the best laughs in the city.

17. Pacers vs. 76ers

20. The BIG Exhibit

21. Philadelphia St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Where: Runs down Broad St.

This Sunday is Philadelphia’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. It first took over the city in 1971 and has been a great annual tradition since. Come out for the traditional bagpipes, the costumes, the cuisine, and stunning sight of a cultural atmosphere. Celebrate the Luck of the Irish with a St. Patrick’s Day Parade with local dance groups, musicians, and more.
