Philly Wine Week continues to roll through Sunday, April 7th. There will be wine happy hours, pairing events, and more over the next few days. High Street on Market will be hosting a meat and cheese pairing with Maple Spring Wines this Friday. The fifth annual Philly Wine Week BBQ at American Sardine Bar will take place this Sunday. Jet Wine Bar, Philadelphia’s “global vineyard”, will also be continuing its themed events and parties every day through Sunday.

2. Closing Soon: Kate The Unexamined Life at Walnut Street Theatre
Where: Walnut Street Theatre, 825 Walnut St.

The Walnut Street Theatre has been displaying the poignant life of Katharine Hepburn to the stage for over a month. Kate The Unexamined Life, takes you to New Year’s Eve 1999. Hepburn is 92 and ponderings all the facets of life. Stop by this phenomenal theater before it’s too late.

3. Philadelphia Environmental Film Festival

The third annual Philadelphia Environmental Film Festival begins today and runs through this Sunday. The festival invokes the medium of film to propel the narrative for the wellness of the globe. There will be several movie screenings, discussions, panels, Q&As, and more.

4. Philly Celebrates Jazz Events this Weekend

5. The Philadelphia Orchestra Presents Romeo and Juliet

The Philadelphia Orchestra has a collection of some of the most talented musicians around. This week the brilliant assembly will be performing Prokofiev’s three suites from Romeo and Juliet. The performance will be highlighted by selected vignettes from the Philadelphia-based choreographer Brian Sanders.

6. Pennsylvania Ballet Spring Showcase

Igor Stravinsky’s work will be brought to life like no other this weekend when the phenomenal talents of the Pennsylvania Ballet unfold for this spring showcase. 8. Center City District Fountain Spring Returns

Center City District’s Spring and Summer events are beginning to emerge on the calendar. Dilworth Park, Sister Cities Park, John F. Collins Park, and Cret Park will soon be booming with lively gatherings. The colorful fountain Pulse at Dilworth Park is now brightening up the area.

9. Philadelphia Fine Arts Fair

12. Midnight Movie: The Room

19. Philadelphia Kite Festival
