Welcome FOX Sports’ “The Gambler” to Philadelphia sports talk radio

It’s happening, folks. Word leaked out yesterday about this, but we wanted to wait until today to make it official.

There hasn’t been a radio station available in the Philly market that’s focused on sports betting … until now. FOX Sports Radio is launching a Philly station, which will be branded “The Gambler,” beginning this Monday, August 26, at 3 p.m., and it will feature none other than Sean Brace debuting his new show, The Daily Ticket, for three hours.

The best way to listen to the station regardless of where you are? The iHeartRadio app! You can download the iHeartRadio app at this link from whichever device you’ll tune in from! The station will also be available locally on 102.5 FM (translator W273DO), 1480 AM, and 105.3 HD2.

Presented by Cure Auto Insurance, The Gambler will focus on the growing popularity of legalized sports betting, especially locally with Brace. At the perfect time slot, you can tune into Brace’s show from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. to get all the information you need to make an informed wager locally and nationally on every sport! No sports talk radio station in the city will dive into sports betting the way Brace and The Gambler will.

The unique thing about this station, other than the focus on sports betting, will be that Brace won’t be taking callers as is the norm in the current sports radio landscape. Instead, he’ll have on guests, and discuss not only the games, but the odds, futures, prop bets, and more!

SugarHouse Casino and Hard Rock in Atlantic City will host live broadcasts weekly. More information coming on that soon.

Additional programming on the station will feature Dan Patrick, Colin Cowherd, Clay Travis, RJ Bell, Chris Broussard, Rob Parker, Jason Smith, Mike Harmon, and Ben Maller.

What does this mean for the site? Well, you’ll be able to read the same great content here, and also be able to listen to our voices on The Gambler! It’s not just FOX Sports’ The Gambler, it’s also Pi’s! Our entire team of great writers and talkers has been focused on our next challenge, and we can’t wait to have you join us!
