6. Phillies Weekend

7. Ancient History of the Distant Future

8. New Asian Futurisms

Another new exhibition on this list is New Asian Futurisms at the Asian Arts Initiative. Several talented artists and crafters were asked: “to imagine a place beyond time and space, a backdrop for the imagination of queer, differently-abled, of a multiplicity of thought.” This inclusive and spectrum embracing display is a cultural and media wonder.

9. Spit Spreads Death Primer at the Mütter Museum

Spit Spreads Death: The Influenza Pandemic of 1918-19 in Philadelphia will be an exciting new exhibition coming to the Mutter Museum this October. To promote the informative, historically-driven, and interesting exhibit, there will be a lantern creation workshop this Friday. 11. Philly Fashion Week

The closing runway shows of Philly Fashion Week is this weekend. Runway 1 is this Friday night. The next night, Runway 2, will be front and center.
