It was the World Cup of Wrestling at WCW Starrcade 1995! As the FIFA World Cup has taken over the sports world the last few weeks, it was World Championship Wrestling vs. New Japan Pro Wrestling in a best-of-seven series of matches at the biggest WCW show of the year.
This show also featured a Triangle Match as Ric Flair faced Sting and Lex Luger for the opportunity to face the “Macho Man” Randy Savage for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in the main event.
