After speculation and a spotty practice schedule for the wide receiver, Jordan Matthews is officially inactive for the Eagles game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday afternoon. Matthews is nursing an ankle injury that limited him in Monday night’s loss to the Green Bay Packers. This is the first game Matthews has missed in his NFL or college career.
Matthew’s absence made it an easy decision to activate Nelson Agholor, who reportedly was on the path to playing today regardless of Matthew’s status.
Here is the rest of the Eagles inactives for the game. No surprises among them.
