Josh McCown gave it all he had.
Literally.
ESPN’s Tim McManus is reporting that the Eagles backup quarterback played with a torn hamstring in the second half of Philadelphia’s 17-9 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card Round on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.

McCown, of course, replaced Carson Wentz after he left the game in the first quarter with a concussion. He is scheduled to undergo surgery on Tuesday, according to McManus. NFL’s Mike Garafolo reported that McCown tore his hamstring off the bone and the surgery is a six-month recovery.
That’s one tough you know what!
It was the 40-year-old McCown’s first playoff game of his 17-year career and he was very emotional postgame. He struggled to contain his tears immediately after the game in the tunnel following the game.
