I joined Thursday’s Daily Ticket with Sean Brace on Fox Sports The Gambler to discuss this weekend’s UFC card in Las Vegas.
The main event features former welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley vs. up-and-coming contender Gilbert Burns. The fight takes place at the UFC APEX facility in Vegas, and I examine how the smaller octagon will impact the fighters and what history tells us regarding the number of finishes we may see Saturday night. There are three fights, including the main event and co-main event, that I see as nice value plays. I share my insight and analysis of each.
DraftKings Sportsbook recently released some NFL futures on QB TD totals. I targeted two AFC quarterbacks where I see a significant opportunity to cash in. Ben Roethlisberger looks to bounce back after missing last season, but are the oddsmakers overemphasizing any durability concerns over his past performance? I also take a look at Tennessee’s Ryan Tannehill and explain why the NFL’s Comeback Player of the Year’s connection with his second-year wideout will result in big things for the Titans.
