DeMarco Murray Blows Up In Locker Room After Arizona Game

We’ve documented all of the DeMarco Murray drama this season for you. Things have gotten so bad for Murray that he only had two carries against the Cardinals on Sunday night. It’s so bad that even Donovan McNabb feels bad for Murray.

It now seems that we’ve reached a boiling point. Howard Eskin is reporting that Murray blew up after the Arizona game. Apparently it was similar to LeSean McCoy’s tantrum after the Bills lost to the Eagles in week 14.

As a competitor, this shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. Murray has gone from last year’s NFL rushing champion, to a spectator. On one hand I feel bad for the guy, but on the other hand, he hasn’t exactly helped himself. You have to wonder if Murray is “Entitled, Selfish and Condescending” as a Cowboys’ source indicated in a report from Albert Breer last week.

Murray speaking with Jeff Lurie about his role on the team is most definitely not a good look for him. On top of that, when anonymous players on your own team come out and question your effort, one certainly has to question what exactly is going on.

At this point, would it be better for the Eagles to cut their losses and make him inactive for the rest of the season? It could be one less distraction for them. If they win their next two games, they’re in the Playoffs. They need to focus on the task at hand.
