A judge has granted New York AG’s preliminary injunction to shut down both DraftKings and Fanduel in the state. Last month the AG told the state to stop taking bets. The DFS giants have always contended that Daily Fantasy isn’t gambling. They even created an Independent Control Board to ensure “fair” play. They’ve argued that it’s a game of skill, not chance. I disagree and I think that with all of the money that people put into these sites, it should be regulated.
