Sikh Fans Harassed by San Diego Chargers Security For Wearing Turbans

Last week in San Diego when the Chargers played the Broncos,  a few fans of Denver almost never made it into the stadium. The group of men had issues getting in because of the Turbans that they were wearing. Eventually they were allowed in – but once in, they were told that if they ever came back, they could not wear the Turbans.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, at some point before the game, someone called police and told them that the men had been messing around in the trunk of their car. At which point, bomb-sniffing dogs were called to the scene to inspect their car. I’m sure it had to be a terrible feeling for the men.

One of the men stated the following to 10News in San Diego:

“Three of my buddies, they had turbans on, and it was like, you guys got to take the turbans off. It’s bad, I mean, this is embarrassing for me, because we are Americans at the end of the day. And we are not supposed to be afraid of fellow Americans.”

We’re living in dangerous times, but this is where the flame throwing that people like Donald Trump do, help tear down this country. We must do better.
