The Eagles Interviewed Someone for Chief of Player Personnel

The Eagles interviewed someone for their vacant chief of personnel position. It’s not one we’ve heard linked to them to this point. So, who was it? Well, it turns out they interviewed the NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah.

The Eagles announced the search for a chief of player personnel when they hired and introduced Doug Pederson, but then announced that they had suspended their search until after the draft due to the search not having the best timing.

Word is there was no offer made to Jeremiah. Also, word is that he is signing an extension with the NFL Network, though there is nothing official on that just yet.

So, the search continues for the Eagles. In speaking with an NFL scout, it does not seem as though many in the NFL think highly of Howie Roseman, and any position that involves working with him is not thought of as a desirable opportunity. So, there’s that.

Let’s hope the Eagles can somehow lure a high-level talent here to oversee player personnel. If not, we may be in for a long and rough ride.
