The Sixers Were Denied Their Tenth Win in the Most Insane Way Possible

It’s March Sadness. H/T to CSN Philly for that one.

It indeed was a sad night for the Sixers in Denver, where a day after after 70-degree weather, a blizzard decided to strike. And it got even colder for our basketball team.

The Sixers were under four seconds away from snapping a six-game losing streak. We were all feeling good and didn’t think there was a chance the Nuggets could tie the game, let alone win it. We were feeling good. Real good. At least I was.

Emmanuel Mudiay put an end to all of those good feelings with one of the luckiest shots I’ve ever seen.

Should’ve drafted Mudiay, am I right!?

I guess we could blame Robert Covington for missing a free throw before that, where Mudiay’s game-winner would’ve just become a game-tier. And maybe the Sixers could’ve won in overtime. Maybe. Just maybe.

Extended version below, and some Brett Brown sadness.
