Philadelphia is a major spanning city. It’s always brimming with exiting new activities and things to do each week. Sometimes answering the simple question of where to eat or get a quick drink can be overwhelming. Each week Philly Influencer will highlight some new places and local favorites to add to your list. 

KEEN: Owners Chris and Caitlin Rorer have opened a new American cuisine restaurant at  1708 Lombard St. The menu has an extensive small bites section including mussels, hand pie stuffed with bacon and artichoke, rice balls, and more. Like most modern food spots there’s a variety of tasty sandwiches, burgers, salads, noodle dishes, and hearty main courses. Come to this fresh new place for a taste of something special.

ITV: This East Passyunk wine and cocktail bar is a stop that shouldn’t be missed. ITV has a great atmosphere and a menu that offers up delicious sharable plates. From puffed pork chops, to beef fat biscuits, to grilled scallops, and to ricotta gnocchi, this menu has a spread that will leave you wanting more.

Le Cheri: Le Cheri is a Rittenhouse French cuisine staple. This bistro has an elegant decor and traditional Parisian dishes that will make your stomach smile. The rustic space offers Saturday and Sunday brunch each week. If you stop by for dinner try their braised veal short ribs, herb crusted grouper, celery root ravioli, and other meals.

Serpico: Serpico provides an open kitchen design and a trendy new space for you to fall in love with. The restaurant truly has delicious dishes bursting with flavor. come try their king salmon, poached halibut, Caledonian prawns, and other meals. Feel free to wash those bites down with an options from their bountiful wine and cocktail lists.

Scarlett Alley’s 25th Annual Holiday Open House: Today Scarlett Alley will be hosting its 25th Annual Holiday Open House. There will be complimentary holiday inspired beverages and treats.  The open house will also include live music and several discounts throughout the store including 15% off jewelry. The event is from 5PM-8PM.

Craft Beer Thursday: This Thursday from 8PM-12AM Chickie  & Pete’s will be having Craft Beer Thursday. The restaurant and bar will be offering up a complimentary craft beer, having a Weezer concert ticket giveaway, $1 buck-a-shuck oysters, Thursday night football will be on the massive screens, and Radio 104.5 and Tim Williams Band will provide live entertainment.

Devil’s Den Fireplace Party: This Friday local bar Devil’s Den will be hosting a fireplace lighting party starting at 7PM. There will be a lineup of  list of smoked and wood-aged beers including Head Oak Aged Vanilla World Wide Stout, select Bourbon Barrel Aged Chardonnay, Fireplace Sling, and more. The establishment also has various holiday beverages including hot apple cider. With a donation of a toy for their CHOP toy drive, you’ll get a free Evil Genius or Coppertail draft beer.

JJ Bootleggers Onsie Crawl: This Saturday JJ Bootleggers will hosting an intriguing and comfortable bar crawl like no other.  The party starts at 6PM and costs $20. There will be discounted specials at each location, a photo booth, waived cover charges, and plenty of drinks to go around.

Retail Shops Manager, Jill Scarlett stated recently, “What better way to celebrate the holidays than with food, festive cocktails and fashion? House of Claus will be Philly’s biggest and best holiday party – all benefitting children in need.” The Shops at Liberty place will be hosting a House of Claus next week with all proceeds go towards Variety The Children’s Charity. tickets are $10. You’ll taste food from Ocean Prime, Square 1682, Davio’s Northern Italian, Steakhouse and more. There will also be beverages and cocktails provided by Grace Winery and Bluebird Distilling. Come enjoy live music will by the Exit 22 Jazz Quartet, look at the models wearing the hottest seasonal fashions, and walk away with a swag bag.
