Three billboards have been put up in Cleveland asking LeBron James to come to Philadelphia

At its core, Sam Hinkie’s “Process” was more than simply tanking for draft picks. It was about acquiring stars, whether it was through the NBA Draft, free agency or trade.

This coming offseason, the Philadelphia 76ers have an opportunity to land the star of stars.

Power Home Remodeling CEO Asher Raphael, a passionate Philadelphia sports fan whose company is based out of Chester, installed three billboards in Cleveland attempting to entice LeBron James to the City of Brotherly Love. The signs are located on I-480 and seven miles from Quicken Loans Arena, where the Sixers will play the Cavaliers on Thursday night.

The Sixers already have two stars on their roster they acquired via the draft in Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. Now they might be able to land another through free agency, where Philadelphia will have more than enough cap space to bring in James.

“We’re passionate about Philadelphia. We have an amazing city, it’s the best sports town and it’s an awesome place to live. We think the best athletes should want to play here.”

James has been seemingly obsessed with catching the ghost of Michael Jordan, who won six NBA titles. James is halfway there and with such a bright future ahead with Embiid, Simmons and potentially Markelle Fultz, Philadelphia would be an attractive option for the King. It would also allow him to stay in the weaker Eastern Conference and away from the mighty Golden State Warriors out west.
