Joel Embiid reflects on his second consecutive All-Star game selection

Philadelphia’s favorite 7-footer Joel Embiid skipped the shootaround before the prime time tilt against the Los Angeles Lakers tonight. The 76ers’ star put minds to rest when he assured the media throngs that he would be playing in the marquee matchup. Embiid also looked back on his journey to the top of the crop of the NBA spectrum.

Embiid stated when asked, “A lot of you guys said I was never going to play. And to be here as a starter two years in a row is amazing.”
