In this episode of The PHLY Zone, the team talks about how the Sixers have matched up against tough competition this year, the team’s offensive identity without Embiid, look toward the showdown with the Nets, discuss Eagles Super Bowl memories, and take a closer look at the schools reopening in the city.

In marquee matchups with the Lakers and Pacers, the stars, coaches, and the bench rose to the occasion. Whether it was Embiid’s 28 points, six rebounds, and four assists against the Lakers, Tobias’ game-winning shot in the same game, or Simmons’ 21 points against the Pacers, the team has responded.

In the Lakers game, Doc drew up a play to get Tobias on a switch. In the Pacers game, he switched to zone. He also won Eastern Conference Coach of the Month. The team will need that coaching against the Nets this weekend. We looked into how the Sixers matchup against the three-headed monster of Harden, Durant, and Irving.
