PGA Tour’s Wells Fargo Championship Round 3 match play

We’re back with some PGA Tour betting action! I have a Wells Fargo Championship Round 3 match play that I absolutely love on Saturday! These aren’t names that you are familiar with on the PGA tour, but a winning ticket cashes the same either way. The Wells Fargo Championship should get you in the right direction with your bankroll for the upcoming weekend!

Luke List (-122) vs. Scott Stallings

Tee Time – 1:15 pm ET

Luke List has been a golfer that I have been targeting since the beginning of the week for the Wells Fargo Championship. When I ran my model for this event, he actually fell into my top 10 golfers! At the beginning of the week I had him for top 30 for +360. He is currently tied for 10th even with a +1 on Friday. I expect him to have a solid score on Saturday and I simply feel that he should have the better score against Scott Stallings.

First off, List has been better than Stallings in SG:OTT, SG:APP, AG:ARG, and SG:T2G. He is one stroke better OTT and he is more than five strokes better than him T2G! If it wasn’t for Stallings crazy putting of +5.77 SG:PUTT, this line would be a lot higher and the scores wouldn’t even be close. Stallings hasn’t had a third round here since 2016, and that year he was negative in all SG categories.

List has been the complete opposite. He has two (2) third rounds here and has had an average of +1.44 SG:TOT. The one tournament where he finished ninth, he had a SG:TOT of +3.37! He is in the same position to finish strong this week! Stallings, in his last 12 out of 18 rounds, has been in the negative in SG:OTT, which is the most important stat here! List, in his last 13 out of 19 rounds, has been in the + in SG:OTT!

While Stallings is one stroke better than List right now, as a sports bettor, we have gained value with List here! As far as Stallings’ hot putter, he has truly been putting out of his mind! Before averaging +5.77 SG:PUTTING for the week, I have never seen him remotely come close to putting this amazing in his entire career. I can not imagine him maintaining this Saturday, as all good things must come to an end. List is the way better fit for the course and this weeks stats prove this as well!

Let’s cash this matchup play and start this weekend off right!
