Who should be the next head coach of the Flyers?

While the Flyers have strung together back-to-back wins for the first time since late October, Mike Yeo is still the interim head coach.

With the interim tag not lifted yet, it doesn’t mean it won’t be in the near future, especially if the Flyers’ play on the ice improves the way it has the last two games.

Yeo took an underacheiving St. Louis Blues team on a spectacular run to the playoffs a few seasons ago, but didn’t bear the same fortune the following season. Is he the long-term answer? Will the Flyers look to someone with a proven track record (if there is such a thing in the NHL) to guys like Mike Babcock, John Tortorella, or even bring back someone like Ken Hitchcock?

The Flyers aren’t necessarily an old team, but they’re also not a young team. There’s a variety of talent on the team, but they just can’t seem to put it together, and haven’t been able to for over a decade. The Penguins’ playoff series in 2012 was nice, but that’s about it when it comes to the core of Giroux and Couturier leading the team.

So, if the Flyers won’t trade to begin a rebuild (which doesn’t last long in professional sports anymore), who can they bring in as a head coach to try and right the ship with the current talent? Let us know in the comments and on social media: Twitter (@PHL_Influencer), Facebook, Instagram.
