Everybody’s favorite Training Camp story Paul Turner has been waived, according to Dave Zangaro of CSN.
The #Eagles are waiving receiver and training camp standout Paul Turner, per source. If he clears, they’d like him on practice squad.

The undrafted Louisiana Tech product led the preseason with 17 receptions to go with 165 yards and a 71-yard punt return for a touchdown during Thursday night’s 14-6 win over the New York Jets.
Turner had an unbelievable camp and preseason, you couldn’t have asked more from him. He literally caught every ball thrown his way. Any other year, Turner probably wouldn’t have made the initial 53-man roster, but due to the lack of talent at wide receiver, he was able to sneak on.
But now he’s gone.

The Eagles would like him on the practice squad. Cornerback C.J. Smith and defensive lineman Taylor Hart were also waived.
