Just yesterday, the word making the media rounds was the Giants would keep him. Clearly, conversations then and today did not go well, at least for Judge. He’s out.
And that’s sad for Eagles fans. It seems like the Giants are at rock bottom and have nowhere to go but up. And Doug Pederson is still out there getting interviews for head coach vacancies, so you have to believe the Giants would want to bring him in at least for one interview.
Of course, Judge is dealing with this in completely normal fashion through his… assistant.
I'm told Joe Judge's assistant sent a text to his coaches tonight relaying the news saying, "I'm sorry to send this text, but Joe called me and he was let go. If you are around tomorrow, be in the office at 9am and he will meet with his staff."

It’s an interesting time to watch how these teams who fired their head coaches plan to hire what they believe to be the answer.
