Jahlil Okafor’s Second Victim Already Has a Lawsuit Rarin’ to Go

The guy who Jahlil Okafor knocked out in a second street fight in Boston last week is threatening a big lawsuit, according to TMZ Sports. And let me show you my surprised face:

The man who Okafor attacked in the other fight, which was released on Thanksgiving, filed a police report on Black Friday. So far, according to the Boston Police Department website, no other police reports have been filed currently.

The second victim isn’t revealing his identity, but his attorney says they’re positive it was Okafor who threw the punch that knocked him out cold. Here’s more:

The man behind the allegations does not want to reveal his I.D. — but his attorney, Michelle Newton, tells TMZ Sports he’s a 27-year-old executive assistant who lives in Boston.

We know the man was knocked out cold during the melee at Storyville nightclub last week — but it was unclear from the footage if Okafor was his assailant.

But the victim’s attorney tells TMZ Sports they’re POSITIVE it was Okafor — and he needed 10 stitches to close the gash on his eye after Jahlil knocked him out.

Newton says a lawsuit is now on table — though they have NOT filed any paperwork yet.

“We’re always interested in resolving any matter prior to ligation,” Newton tells us …. “Should we be unable to reach an agreement [with Jahlil], civil litigation is the only available option.”

Translation — settle or we’ll see you in court.

There’s more … Newton says her client has experienced pain and embarrassment as a result of the fight.

He’s also pissed over allegations he heckled Jahlil about the 76ers before the fight — claiming it’s simply not true. He says the whole thing started when Okafor was rejected by women in the victim’s crew.

Honestly, it doesn’t matter at this point whether Okafor was goaded into the fights or not – because these Bostonians are pricks enough [no, not smart enough, they’re really just pricks] to see a payday before them. Even though the video doesn’t positively identify Okafor as the main assailant, Newton saying they’re positive that it was Okafor may be the necessary legal loophole that could save him here, but I don’t think it’s likely.

Okafor could settle out of court, obviously, and I think that might be his best bet right now. Unless he’s, you know, innocent.
