The Eagles have been quite active over the last few days. They’ve signed cornerback Leodis McKelvin and have separate trades in place involving DeMarco Murray, along with one sending Kiko Alonso and Byron Maxwell to the Dolphins. This has opened the eyes of many people who aren’t fans of Howie Roseman, me included. With Chip Kelly out of the picture, Roseman appears to be a man on a mission.
One former Eagle great who is definitely a fan of Roseman’s moves so far is Seth Joyner. Joyner recently appeared on the 94WIP Mike & Ike Show and said the following courtesy of CBS Philly.
“Hey listen, I am thrilled beyond measure at what Howie Roseman has done over the last 24, 48 hours,” Joyner told the 94WIP Mike & Ike Show on Tuesday. “My contention was, hey we might have to eat Byron Maxwell’s contract, but let’s figure out a way to get DeMarco Murray’s off the books. And low and behold, he turns around and gets both of them off the books. And I just think it’s a good place for where we are and where we need to go.”
